How Do I Control Audio?

All Mevo cameras offer advanced internal audio and several options for external audio sources. The Mevo app allows you to control each input individually or as a whole using the Audio Mixer feature.

Controlling Mevo Audio

To access the Audio Mixer, tap the More Options (•••) icon in the lower right corner of the live edit view.

Output

The Output slider (section 2) controls what your audience hears. Any adjustments to section 1 will directly affect the Output.

  1. The Output section includes a volume slider, mute button, and audio level meter. It controls the final mix sent to your audience.
  2. Below that, you’ll see individual controls for each input source, including your Mevo’s built-in mic and your mobile device’s mic or plugged-in source. Use the sliders to adjust volume, or tap the microphone icon to mute a source.

Audio input sliders

A general best practice is to keep audio levels peaking between halfway and two-thirds up the bar. This ensures clarity without distortion.

Ideal peak range

If the level meter flashes red at the top, your audio is peaking. Lower the volume using the slider to avoid distortion.
