Audio from a Blue Yeti via USB

Logitech USB microphones—including the Yeti GX, Yeti Orb, Yeti, and Snowball series—can all be connected to your Mevo Start or Mevo Core camera via the USB-C port. These microphones are fully driverless, which means they’re plug-and-play compatible and require no special setup.

As part of the Logitech family, these microphones are ideal companion accessories for Mevo products and offer a simple path to high-quality audio for livestreams, podcasts, and more.

What You’ll Need

  • Your Logitech USB microphone (Yeti GX, Yeti Orb, Yeti, Snowball, etc.)
  • The original USB cable that came with your microphone
  • A Logitech USB-C to USB-A adapter (or equivalent)

Setup Instructions

  1. Plug your microphone into the Mevo’s USB-C port using the appropriate adapter.
  2. Open the Mevo app and go to Settings > Power.
  3. Toggle on Power External Devices so the Mevo can provide power to your microphone.
  4. Your microphone will appear as USB Device in the Audio Mixer.
  5. If this is your first time connecting an external audio device, you may need to manually select it in the mixer. Learn how here.

All Logitech USB microphones are designed to operate without additional drivers. Other third-party, driverless USB audio devices may work as well, but only Logitech models are officially tested for full compatibility.
