Connecting a Mevo Camera to a Local Wi-Fi Network

Connect Your Mevo Camera to a Wi-Fi Network

The Mevo Camera App allows you to connect your camera to a local Wi-Fi network for streaming and remote control. This is ideal for stable in-home or venue-based internet connections.

Before starting, make sure your Mevo camera is powered on and your mobile device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network that you want to use. You must also have the latest version of the Mevo Camera App installed.

Step 1: Open the Mevo App

Launch the Mevo Camera App on your mobile device and connect to your camera.

Step 2: Access Network Settings

If you're currently connected using Cellular or Ethernet mode, tap the gear icon in the top right corner and choose Change Connection Type.

Step 3: Select Wi-Fi

From the connection options, choose Wi-Fi, then tap Stream via Wi-Fi. The app will scan for nearby networks.

Step 4: Choose Your Network

You will see a list of available Wi-Fi networks. Tap the one you want to connect to and enter the password if prompted. Once you've entered the correct credentials, tap Join.

If your Mevo has connected to this Wi-Fi network before, it will automatically reconnect without asking for the password.

Step 5: Enter the Production Screen

After a brief moment, your Mevo will connect to the selected Wi-Fi network and take you to the production screen. From here, you can control your camera, adjust framing, and select your streaming destinations.

If you're not taken to the production screen automatically, try tapping your camera name from the list again to connect.
