Performing a Factory Reset

If you're experiencing issues with your Mevo camera or want to start fresh, you can reset all settings back to factory defaults. This will not delete recordings saved on your microSD card, but it will erase all custom configurations such as saved Wi-Fi networks, streaming destinations, overlays, and audio settings.

Step 1: Open the Settings Menu

In the Mevo app, tap the More Options (•••) icon in the bottom right corner of the live view, then tap the gear icon to access your camera settings.

Step 2: Scroll to the Bottom and Tap Reset

At the bottom of the Settings menu, tap Reset to view reset options.

Step 3: Select Reset Settings to Default

Tap Reset Settings to Default to begin the reset process.

Step 4: Reconnect to the Camera

After confirming the reset, your camera will disconnect from the Mevo app. This is normal. Reopen the app and reconnect to the camera. You’ll be starting with the default configuration as if it's a brand-new setup.

Resetting is a useful troubleshooting step if you're having connectivity issues or the camera isn’t performing as expected. It’s also recommended before handing the camera off to another user.
