How Do I Change my Connection Type?

If you have already connected to your camera, you can go into settings to change your connection method.

Tap the More Options icon, then tap the gearwheel to enter settings.


Tap Network.

If you are using the Hotspot and wish to switch to a Wi-Fi network:

Your Settings > Network menu should look like this:


Tap Disconnect to change my Mevo Cameras Wi-Fi network.

The camera will automatically disconnect and update its status. After a moment, you can tap Configure Mevo and change to Local Wi-Fi, as detailed here.

If you wish to use a network you have used in the past, the camera and the app will remember it.

If you are on a Wi-Fi network and wish to switch to the cameras Hotspot:

The network settings menu should indicate that you are connected to a Wi-Fi network. Tap Disconnect to change Mevo's Wi-Fi network.


Your camera will disconnect from the app and update its status.

Then, tap Change Connection Type, to enter the Network Settings screen.

From here you will see different options. 
WI-FI / Cellular Data (if there is no Ethernet Connection)
Or WI-FI / Ethernet (If the Mevo Camera is already connected via wired Ethernet). 

You can then connect to the Mevo Hotspot Mode per these instructions.
