Starting with iOS 14.5 and iPadOS 14.5, Facebook requires users to grant App Tracking permissions for third-party apps—like Mevo—to access Facebook features. This permission is not Mevo tracking your data; it simply enables Mevo to connect to Facebook and retrieve your streaming destinations.
Note: You may need to sign out of Facebook within the Mevo app and sign back in again once tracking permissions are enabled.
How to Enable App Tracking for Mevo
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap the search bar at the top and type Facebook.
- Select the result that opens the Facebook app settings.
- Scroll down and toggle on the option labeled Allow Tracking.
- Close the Mevo or Mevo Multicam app if it’s open.
- Restart the app and log in to Facebook again if prompted.
Once enabled, Mevo should be able to retrieve your Facebook destinations without further issues. If you continue experiencing problems, try logging out of Facebook in the Mevo app and logging back in to refresh the connection.
