Camera Modes and What They Mean

There are three camera operation modes that determine how exposure, shutter speed, and ISO are controlled.

Auto

In Auto mode, Mevo automatically adjusts both shutter speed and ISO to match your lighting conditions. This is ideal for users who want to quickly set up without adjusting multiple settings manually. Exposure and other settings can still be adjusted.

Shutter

In Shutter mode, you can manually set the shutter speed while Mevo automatically adjusts ISO for proper exposure. This is best for fast or slow action where motion smoothness is a priority.

Manual

Manual mode gives you full control of shutter speed and ISO. Exposure is calculated automatically based on your inputs. This mode is ideal for consistent lighting or creative control over your scene.

Image Adjustment Settings

Exposure

Adjust exposure to compensate for high-contrast scenes like stage lighting. Available in Auto and Shutter modes. Changing this value adjusts shutter speed and ISO automatically.

Shutter Speed

Controls how long the camera’s sensor is exposed to light per frame. Slower speeds create motion blur; faster speeds freeze motion. Available in Shutter and Manual modes.

ISO

Controls the sensor's light sensitivity. Higher ISO brightens dark scenes but may introduce grain. Only adjustable in Manual mode.

White Balance

Adjust color tone to compensate for lighting. Tap the setting to choose from preset lighting conditions. The image adjusts after about one second.

Brightness, Contrast, Saturation

These affect how vibrant, sharp, or flat your image appears. Tap any setting and scroll up/down to see changes in real-time.

When you begin customizing settings manually, the Custom preset is automatically selected. Switching to another preset does not erase your custom values — re-selecting Custom restores them.

Tap the arrow icon on the far-right side of the menu to close the Image Adjustments panel.
