You can now use your Mevo camera as a web camera on your computer. This enables you to use any of your Mevo cameras with your favorite software. e.g. Video conferencing software such as Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Discord or Video Switching software like Livestream Studio, vMix, and OBS.
There are two ways to connect your Mevo products to your computer.
Wired Webcam / UVC
UVC stands for "USB Video Class" which is a USB driver for cameras to be used via USB. This allows the camera to be used as a wired webcam. UVC functionality requires that the camera is plugged in to your computer similar to how you would use a traditional webcam. Note that you will no longer be able to record or stream while using the Mevo Start camera as a wired webcam. No downloads are necessary.
- How do I enable it: Simply double tap the power button after your camera has fully booted up. You will here a short chime that lets you know that the mode has been enabled. If you'd like to disable it, simply double tap the power button again.
- Plug it into your computer via USB and your system will see it has a standard webcam.
- Select it as your video source in the app of your choice (example: Zoom)

Troubleshooting
If you've selected "Mevo Camera" as your video source on your computer using the Mevo Wireless Webcam app, but haven’t yet selected a Mevo camera from the app, a default placeholder image will appear instead of live video.
How to Fix This
To display your actual Mevo camera feed, you must select a connected Mevo from the Mevo Wireless Webcam app's system tray (Windows) or menu bar (Mac).
Open the Mevo Wireless Webcam tray icon and choose the Mevo camera you want to use.
If you do not see your Mevo listed, make sure the camera is powered on and connected to the same network as your computer. You may need to restart the Mevo Wireless Webcam app.
