Mevo Go is an app that turns a mobile device into a Mevo source to send video, audio, or screencast to Mevo Studio. Mevo Pro subscription required.
To connect Mevo Go, make sure both the mobile device running Mevo Go and the mobile device running Mevo Studio are on the same local network. You can connect both to either the camera's Wi-Fi hotspot, or to the same local Wi-Fi network.

Below you can learn about the current features that Mevo Go offers.
Turn a mobile device into a camera and microphone source in Mevo Studio, creating another video source for your production!
In the Video & Audio feature, you will see a lock icon you toggle to lock the screen from being tapped as you have the traditional digital zoom functionality. You can also tap the More Options (•••) icon in the bottom right corner.
From left to right, the settings are as follows.
- Focus - This feature allows you to adjust the focus of your camera for a bokeh effect which makes the out-of-focus field of depth more blurry than your subject. This may or may not be available for your device, if it doesn't allow you, try to flip your camera (go to number 3)
- Exposure - Exposure is the amount of light that reaches your camera's sensor. You can adjust this to help in various lighting situations.
- Camera switch - Switch between the front and back-facing cameras on your mobile device (if available). Some cameras may be more limited than others in regard to focus adjustments.
- Zoom - Change the level of zoom for your mobile device's camera.
- Mic - Mute/unmute the microphone of the mobile device, audio will not be sent to Mevo Studio with this disabled.
- Camera settings - Change the name of your Mevo Go device for easier identification in Mevo Studio. Add a password to prevent unwanted access. Modify digital zoom functionality.
To add a Mevo Go: Video & Audio source to Mevo Studio, add a Mevo Go Asset!
- First, ensure you have the Mevo Go: Video & Audio running on another device. It will not appear in Mevo Studio while sitting in the Menu. You must select the function!
- Now, on your device running Mevo Studio: Open the Library to the Live Sources tab and connect to the Video & Audio source you want.
- Your Mevo Go Live Source will appear in the "Connected" area of Mevo Studio. Add as many Mevo Go sources as your controlling device can handle!
To add a Mevo Go: Screencast source to Mevo Studio, add a Mevo Go Asset!
- First, ensure you have the Mevo Go: Screencast running on another device. It will not appear in Mevo Studio while sitting in the Menu. You must select the function!
- Now, on your device running Mevo Studio: Open the Library to the Live Sources tab and connect to the Video & Audio source you want.
- Your Mevo Go Live Source will appear in the "Connected" area of Mevo Studio. Add as many Mevo Go sources as your controlling device can handle!
To add a Mevo Go: Remote Mic source to Mevo Studio, add a Mevo Go Asset!
- First, ensure you have the Mevo Go: Remote Mic is running on another device. It will not appear in Mevo Studio while sitting in the Menu. You must select the function!
- Now, on your device running Mevo Studio: Open the Studio tab, tap on the Blue + button, select Audio and then toggle on Mevo Go Remote Mic.
- Mevo Go will update showing that you're now connect.
Using this app on a supported mobile device, you can bring in sound from another phone's built-in microphone, a supported external audio device, or any Bluetooth audio device (provided your phone or tablet supports it).
In order for the app to work, you will need to allow it to access your mobile device's microphone. Tap the Allow button to prompt the permission request message to pop up. (You might have already done this! So if it doesn't ask, you should be ok!)
